Description
ADAPT is an organization that believes in the rights of people with disabilities to live in the community. Teddy demonstrates with them at least once a year – often in Washington, DC. What I really appreciate about ADAPT is that they understand that civil disobedience has its limits for some. Arrests are always a possibility at an ADAPT action, but some can’t risk arrest. Teddy has never been arrested in the full sense of the word and for the time being that is best for him.
