ASL – I Love You

Description

This is one of Teddy’s favorite ASL hand signs. Teddy and I sign this to each other when we are far apart in a room and he needs some positive energy. American Sign Language was Teddy’s first language. Teddy was severely language delayed and ASL was taught so he would have a method of communication. Teddy’s first word was “more”. When he began to talk around 4 the ASL fell away. This link describes the use of “baby sign.”
