Description
Many people don’t understand the concept of being proud and disabled. It is not about being proud of your disability, it is about being proud of who you are and the accomplishments of others with disabilities throughout history. It is accepting and honoring our uniqueness and seeing it as a natural and beautiful part of human diversity. Pride comes from celebrating our own heritage, culture, unique experiences and contributions.
